2017 Cadenza Vineyards Chardonnay

Our classic barrel-fermented and barrel-aged Chardonnay from our original Chardonnay planting.  2017 blessed us with a balanced growing season and we closed out harvest with an amazing lack of rain events. The '17 vintage tracks most similarly to '14 having a supple richness with a complementary raciness. Rarely have we been able to release one of these wines with the proper amount of bottle aging, but even still the wine could benefit from perhaps another year in the bottle. Look for this wine to drink nicely through 2024 and then mature into a more honeyed lusciousness.
